Walkinshaw and Triton Xtreme

Background
Walkinshaw Group specialise in the production of high performance consumer vehicles. In 2023 they partnered with Mitsubishi to create the Triton Xtreme, an accelerated Triton with additional performance and engineering features, and package contents.
For the launch, Walkinshaw was seeking a promotional video that highlighted the Triton’s new features, and have key internal stakeholders speak to the production and engineering processes.

Approach
Production was split over two days, the first being a shoot at Walkinshaw’s factory in Cheltenham filming key interviews with Julian Quincy, Walkinshaw’s Chief Designer, and Trevor Barallon, Walkinshaw’s Chief Engineers. Thorough briefs and key messaging was shared with Trevor and Julian prior to the interviews. Additionally, b-roll vision of the Triton Xtreme was filmed on-site.
The second shoot occurred at the Lang Lang Proving Ground to capture high-end visuals of the Triton Xtreme on the race track and off-road. Local tracking vehicle crew The Bear captured all shots, and motorcycle racing world champion Toby Price was invited to test-drive the Triton Xtreme and share his experience on-camera.
Multiple final edits and social cutdowns were delivered to Walkinshaw for organic use across their owned and operated digital and social media platforms.
